Marina at Keppel Bay - My sister Sara Shantelle and I were invited to check out the huge 52 metres high Matahari Super Yacht and we had a lovely buggy ride from the car park to the yacht and back. Upon entering the Matahari, we were greatly impressed with its spacious and luxurious interiors. Elegantly designed in a timeless fashion, guests are able to relaxed in the comfortable formal and informal entertaining areas. We received a warm welcome from General Manager of Simpson Marine - Mr. Paul Whelan.

There were free flow of champagne and delicious canapes served by the waiters and I was enjoying the the wonderful music played by the pianist on the grand piano. I was busy checking out the fish tank which had many colorful fish and Sara was admiring the beautiful display of Mouawad Fine Jewelry. 

I was glad to meet my friend Mr. Jean Nasr who is the Managing Director of Mouawad which has a boutique at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore #01-07. The Matahari yacht has an elegant private dining room that sits 14 with beautiful setting and chandeliers to create a relaxing dining experience. The Matahari also accomodates 14 people in 7 ensuite staterooms including an owners suite of unparalleled proportions, an exceptional VIP suite and 5 twin cabins. Most interestingly, it also has a sundeck that boosts a big beautiful jacuzzi together with a shaded bar and lounge. It also has a gym and a timeless lounge with a beautiful grand piano and comfortable sofas. The Matahari is the best value 52 metres super yacht in the market that is seaworthy for an enjoyable cruise along the beautiful waters.

I was very happy to celebrate an early birthday dinner for my closest girls, Cindy & KK, yesterday. My amazing girlfriend Cindy Li and I met each other when we were flying in the airlines. Every year, we would surprise each other with crazy birthday treats~. This year, her request was, (I want many many many candles!). So, I prepared 2 birthday cakes for 2 wonderful birthday girls - Cindy Li & KK. As you can tell, we were in a leopard print theme yesterday. Cindy even brought a kitty's head band.

In order to ensure that the cakes are in perfect conditions, I went down to collect the cakes in the afternoon and dropped them off at Hyatt Hotel's big fridge for cool and safe keeping. I requested from the cake shop, (I need many many many candles)! The aunty gave me a shock look. She thought I was joking. I was not! I was suppose to fill up the whole cake with candles, based on their ages. 

We had a 3 course dinner at Mezza9. Before, desert were served, the whole team of waiters prepared the birthday cakes for me. They needed to use a huge torch lighter to light up all the candles. It was hilarious! Using a small lighter to light the candles one by one, just took too long. By the time, the last one gets lit up, the first one is probably burnt into a tiny one.

Singapore is suffering from hazardous haze conditions and choked with smog due to fire from neighbouring Indonesia. According to the 3 hour PSI reading on National Environment Agency website, it has hit an all time high of 401 today at 12pm noon. Anything above 300 is considered hazardous. N95 masks are highly recommended but they are almost sold out throughout Singapore.

I have been feeling irritation in my throat and eyes. The smell of burning in the air is distasteful. Even my darling Prince Royale is feeling unwell and hides himself in the air condition room.

Prime Minister of Singapore LEE HSIEN LONG says that it is "hard to tell how the haze situation would develop. It could last for a few weeks, or even until Sumatra's dry season ends in September." How to Cope with the Haze?

1. Close all windows and doors, turn on all air con, 24 hours a day.
2. Turn on Air Filter Machine in every room.
3. Wear a MASK at all times, N95 masks works the best!
4. Use Eye Drops constantly to cleanse your eyes.
5. Drink a lot of water to clear your throat.
6. Avoid all sports or activities that need deep or heavy breathing.
