SYDNEY - Exploring beautiful Gerringong & its natural surroundings
SYDNEY - Exploring beautiful Gerringong & its natural surroundings - Australia is so beautiful with many of its pristine surroundings and natural landscapes that can be found outside Sydney City. That is the beauty of taking long drives to the countryside to explore the hidden secrets of Australia's gifts from Mother Nature. I finally understood why my beloved sister Lora Christelle Lim owns 3 Luxury Cars as driving around Australia to appreciate its natural surroundings is her new hobby and interest.
During this visit, I had the luxury of travelling in my sister's brand new Mercedes-Benz CLS 250 CDI Sports which was a great beauty in Diamond White Colour. It has a sun-roof and I love how it has the parking assist system where the car can automatically park on its own. Talk about amazing technology! This car is striking to look at, excellent fuel economy and CO2 emissions. With astonishing fuel efficiency at approximately 5 litres/100km, topped with strong performance from the 2.1 litre, twin-turbo, diesel four cylinders, this car has generated large fuel savings. It reaches 0-100km/h in 7.5 seconds and is extremely steady at high speeds. It is a positive feel and luxury drive with a sporty edge. Extremely comfortable and safe and a car definitely to impress your friends in the comfortable and spacious passenger seats.
GERRINGONG - Just 2-3 hours drive South of Sydney, Gerringong is a small rural town located in the Illawara region of New South Wales that offers peace, tranquillity and beautiful secluded beaches. Gerringong has a small population of less than 3,500 people and many of the homes were empty and mostly used as holiday homes. The famous Werri Beach is only 1.5km in length and you can find a few people walking the dog or having a dip in the waters. Located nearby, the Seven Mile Beach at that extends from Gerroa to Shoalhaven heads is a bigger and extremely open beach that experiences rather windy conditions where visitors are advised to be cautious as lifeguards only patrol this beach on weekends and public holidays. My sister Lora and I spent our time relaxing by the countryside exploring beaches, nature parks and cafes. We were also looking at the beautiful beach houses that were beautifully designed by famous local architects. We took Snowy, Lora's precious mini-lop bunny to the parks to feed on the grass and enjoyed small picnics catching up.
