Cruzan Tiki Rum Renditions @ PRIVE Marina Keppel Bay - My sister and I were invited to attend this fantastic "Tiki" Party where there was free flow of deliciously good Cocktails created by award-winning Mixologist Ethan Leslie Leong who created Asia's most expensive cocktail called "The Jewel of Pangaea" which costs SGD$32,000 at Pangaea Club Marina Bay Sands.

The Cruzan Tiki Rum Renditions are brought to us by Beam Global Asia, together with bar partners from – Maison Ikkoku, a lifestyle boutique, and Bitters and Love, one of Singapore’s newest bespoke cocktail bars. A fantastic collaboration as it was a huge and successful event with beautiful guests!

We were transported to an island experience on Keppel Bay that was the first in Singapore: an edible Savage Garden of food installations complete with free-flow Tiki bars serving up a variety of smooth Cruzan Rum cocktails; complemented with hula girls, fire twirlers, ukelele players, and live DJs.

The party was one of the best parties I've ever attended filled with free flow of awesome cocktails, delicious licking good buffet dinner spread that included suckling pig, steamed fish, mashed potatoes, roasted beef etc. and I love all the entertaining performances. 

They also gave us flowers, hats and the purple Tiki cups to bring home :) It was an enjoyable night where we took many photos to keep as memories :)

Enterprise 50 Association Annual General Meeting & Dinner - Fiona and I were invited to attend this event at Four Seasons Hotel on 9 July 2013 proudly sponsored by UBS Private Bank.

The Guest of Honor was Mr Lawrence Wong who is the Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth as well as Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information. There was an interesting dialogue between guests and the Minister and I must say his answers were pretty witty. President of E50 Association - Andy Lim from Moneyworld Asia Pte Ltd gave out several service awards to ex-committee members who stepped down after giving a thank you speech. I met Mr Andy Lim at a previous UBS Bank event and when I interviewed successfully to join Tembusu Private Equity Firm. He is a respectable man who is well-known in Singapore's business community.

Many special guests attended this event which include honorary council members from KPMG, UBS Private Bank, The Business Times and other Managing Directors of Companies who have won E50 awards in Singapore. I met many UBS Private bankers as well as some of ANZ Bank's customers.

The E50 awards were first established in 1995 to recognize local, privately-held companies who have contributed significantly to economic development in Singapore and abroad. It is jointly supported by KPMG, The Business Times, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, Singapore Business Federation, SPRING Singapore etc. Therefore, you can see the seating arrangements of all the VIP guests who were invited to this grand event.

Most interestingly, I met my cousin aka "Uncle Danny" who works for a Private Equity Firm as well as Pearline who used to work for ANZ Bank. Guess Singapore's really small and I tend to bump into people I know everywhere. It's always fun to "reconnect" and I love taking photos to capture such moments!

Throughout the night, I got to network with various Company Directors and made some valuable new contacts. I also learned new knowledge from the UBS Bank presentation and enjoyed a good dinner at Four Seasons Hotel. Special thanks to E50 and UBS Private Bank for inviting me to attend this event!

Before I went for the event at Four Seasons Hotel, I visited JERIC SALON located at ION Orchard Shopping Mall. I was so happy that Mr. Jeric See personally styled my hair so that I can look beautiful for the event. He was very professional in styling my hair using a special curler from Japan.

He used a special curler that automatically rolls my hair and create beautiful soft and natural looking curls. It looks like a mini black robot. Talk about high technology, Jeric Salon prides itself to be using the latest and most updated hair equipment. I highly recommend Jeric Salons if you want professional hairstylists who knows, understands and have a great passion in managing and cutting Hair. My outfit for the event was a Black and White Chiffon Dress. One sided Toga with another side having a thin Crystal strap. I also matched my outfit with my Black Miu Miu Nappa Clutch Bag with Shiny Crystals Chain as I really love things that sparkle :)

They ushered me into the room, offered me Green Tea with biscuit and some magazines to browse. There was also a TV featuring Jeric See's participation in an international hair show. They also washed my hair and the massage was very soothing and relaxing!

After analyzing my hair which lack lustre and volume, Jeric See recommended that I do a Haircut and Digital Perm. Jeric See also explained why he chose AVEDA instead of other hair products. Who said perming hair was long, tiring and boring? I had a delightful surprise as DJ Jean Danker who works at Class 95fm Radio joined me in my private room and we had a great chat. I confessed to her that I used to listen to her over the radio everyday while I was still studying in Primary and Secondary school. She was blushing and I must say she has an awesome personality. She came to Jeric Salon to style her hair as she had  to host some event at Jurong. So she was preparing her hair for work and I was preparing my hair for the Soft Launch of FENIX ROOM at Clarke Quay!

Jeric See was very professional in giving me a nice haircut and digital perm. I was very surprised that the entire process only took around 3 hours of my time. The final outcome was that I left Jeric Salon feeling beautiful and confident as I have beautiful curly hair with great volume!
