It is 1 month before Dr VT and my wedding banquet celebrations. We are having 2 wedding banquets in November 2019. 1 in Malaysia - Penang, The Eastern and Oriental Hotel, and 1 in Singapore, The Fullerton Hotel. My parents and I flew down to Penang together to do some wedding preparations and discussions with Dato Dr Teng and Datin.
Dr VT and I also went down to film 1 of our 3 wedding Videos in his home town too. We have 3 wedding Videos in total. 1 in Prague, Czech Republic, 1 in Singapore and 1 in Malaysia.
We had lots of fun!

On one of the nights, we went to Penang Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa - Feringgi Grill. I must say, they have one of the best grill in Penang. I really liked the place, their hotel and restaurant's atmosphere is so peaceful and beautiful. It is totally different from the environment outside in the town. It is classy and well decorated. Their restaurant is just beside their lounge, where you can hear a pianist playing some piano pieces on their gorgeous white grand piano. We went there for dinner, because, our wedding live band and singer actually performs at Feringgi Grill. We wanted to listen to his music.
The food there was amazing. I had their COD Fish. It was a huge portion. It was really soft and it melts in your mouth while you eat it.
Their service was excellent and food plating was pretty. They gave us complimentary cheese to start the dinner with.
I had a mushroom soup before my Cod Main course. They had pasta, dried mushrooms and a little peanuts in this soup. It has a very strong mushroom aroma.
Before our main course arrive, they gave each of us a palate cleanser, a Lime Sherbet. Its fresh, sour and very refreshing. Most of all when it is a really hot day outside.

Grilled Lamb
I must say that their Lamb was the BEST DISH for the night. It was the softest meat, even better and tastier than the cod fish, even when the cod fish was already so amazing! It was cooked to ultimate perfection. It is really one of the best lamb that I've eaten in my life. One of the best, considering that I've traveled all around the world. The chef is really skilled!
Grilled Beef
Their grilled beef was also excellent. It is even better than any Beef steak that I've taken. Probably better than Morton's Beef or CUT beef. This chef is really impressive. The beef was really juicy, and it was not bloody. It was pink, soft and tender. You did not need to chew very hard or much to break down the beef in your mouth. Excellent!
At the end of the night, they served us with a generous plate of pralines. I tried their orange chocolate flavour. It was yummilicious! We were extremely satisfied. If you go to Malaysia, Penang, and you enjoy fine dining, then this is a place that you should visit.
