Weeks before my wedding, I wanted to tone up my flabby arms. My arms has always been a problem for me. My legs may be long and slim, but when it comes to my arms, its always a little too fleshy for my liking. Like all girls, we are never satisfied with our own body. We should all love our bodies, but what's wrong trying to improve it a little by using new aged advanced technology that can help us to speed up the process a little?

As usual, Sara is scared of everything! A little bit of discomfort and I'll panic! Luckily, EHA Clinic nurses were really professional. They started EMSculpt for me at a really LOW power first, it took me a while before I managed to LEVEL UP. 

The nurses were really good in distracting me and talking to me while they were doing this treatment, hence I was more and more relief and comfortable over time.

How does EMSculpt felt for Sara?

I feel like there's little PINS AND NEEDLES poking and stimulating my muscles. At first, it felt a little weird, as it would cause me to have this in-volunteering reflect action of my arms as you can see from the video above. My arms will straighten itself when the machine stimulates my arm muscles. Took me a few minutes before I got used to the feeling. Never felt like this before. But it kinda reminded me of the reflective test of when a doctor would use a rubber hammer to tap your knee, just to see if your nerves are working. It has that in-volunteering reaction to jerk up, when you are being tapped on. Same for EMSculpt, I feel like my entire arms would want to jerk and shake when the machine penetrates its "magic" into my arms.

Procedure of EMSculpt - How does EMSculpt work?

Emsculpt is a device that uses a very different energy source to reduce fat. Its called High Intensity Electromagnetic Focussed Fields – which not only reduces the fat layer, but also builds the muscle underneath.

So every girl wants to have that perfect oval face, the chiseled look. I used to go for Botox injections to make my jaw line more defined and smaller. But now, with the latest technology, you can make your cheeks and jaw line smaller by a lifting process called LIFTERA Hifu. 

Well, you know I'm very scared of the slightest pain, so I actually requested for some numbing cream. But from what I heard, most people probably don't need to use this.

What is Liftera HIFU?

HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, that is used for Face Lifting and Body Contouring. 

Why do Liftera? 

Liftera Lifting is A non-invasive lifting and contouring treatment for the face, neck area and body. It’s the first Liftera™ treatment, using the original theory of Thermal Diffusion Treatment (TDT ™) Technology. The treatment theory is able to get various types of heat energy into the skin more effectively, and it is effective for strengthening of the skin and body such as face lifting, skin tightening, body shaping and line correction. Unlike conventional lifting techniques, Liftera Lifting is much lesser painful for the patient, with intuitive design and immediate results, as well as better results in 2 months. 

Face Lifting and Sculpting 

Dermal layer and SMAS layer, which is the target depth in the skin, can be applied with heating energy in two ways technique of micro-focusing and diffusion to give thermal effect to all layers of the skin. Strong thermal energy causes contraction and neo-collagenesis in the skin. 

Body Contouring and Tightening 

TDT ™ (Thermal Diffusion Treatment) Technology is used to effectively accumulate diffused thermal energy at three depths of subcutaneous fat layer. Subcutaneous fat tissue that is weak in heat, is destroyed and decreased and absorbed by large amount of macrophages.

What is TDT TM ? 

The applicator of Liftera provide a procedure on curved area of the skin surface by moving technique. Unlike general HIFU procedure, Liftera treatment irradiate at a certain depth in the skin by using at 10 Hz as faster velocity of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound without any damage of epidermis. It is the latest anti-aging technology to stimulate collagen by giving strong heat effect to dermal collagen fiber.

Efficacy 

Liftera transducer is not only giving facial result, but also gives the best efficacy of dramatic body tightening. In case of temperature, when you irradiate subcutaneous fat area, Liftera transducer technology can irradiate above 65 °C thermal energy, therefore it can give good thermal effect on the subcutaneous fat area

Comfortability

 Liftera can generate stable and precise Peak Power by integral applicator and special designed digital engine. If the Peak Power is too low, the efficacy is insignificant, and if it is too high, it can damage to surrounding tissues. So this is how the LIFTERA HIFU Machine works on my face. Its like a holding device that glide around my face and neck area. It basically makes my cheeks lift up and become firmer. Then if you want to remove the turkey neck, you can do this on your neck area. It has a mild numbing and weird sensation. It is quite bearable. Not exceptionally painful. But definitely you will feel a slight discomfort. That's when you know that this treatment is working. You can ask for a higher power if you feel nothing, or a lower power if it is too painful for you. 

Knowing me, I went for the mildest power. 

You can see from this video that my other side of the cheeks is already lifted and smaller than the cheeks that Doctor Tam is currently working on. It has INSTANT AMAZING Results!
