Marina at Keppel Bay - My sister Sara Shantelle and I were invited to check out the huge 52 metres high Matahari Super Yacht and we had a lovely buggy ride from the car park to the yacht and back. Upon entering the Matahari, we were greatly impressed with its spacious and luxurious interiors. Elegantly designed in a timeless fashion, guests are able to relaxed in the comfortable formal and informal entertaining areas. We received a warm welcome from General Manager of Simpson Marine - Mr. Paul Whelan.
There were free flow of champagne and delicious canapes served by the waiters and I was enjoying the the wonderful music played by the pianist on the grand piano. I was busy checking out the fish tank which had many colorful fish and Sara was admiring the beautiful display of Mouawad Fine Jewelry.
I was glad to meet my friend Mr. Jean Nasr who is the Managing Director of Mouawad which has a boutique at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore #01-07. While invited guests are only allowed in the main entertainment areas, Sara and I were honoured to be taken on a private tour of the entire yacht by General Manager of Simpson Marine - Mr. Paul Whelan.
The Matahari yacht has an elegant private dining room that sits 14 with beautiful setting and chandeliers to create a relaxing dining experience. The Matahari also accomodates 14 people in 7 ensuite staterooms including an owners suite of unparalleled proportions, an exceptional VIP suite and 5 twin cabins. Most interestingly, it also has a sundeck that boosts a big beautiful jacuzzi together with a shaded bar and lounge. It also has a gym and a timeless lounge with a beautiful grand piano and comfortable sofas. The Matahari is the best value 52 metres super yacht in the market that is seaworthy for an enjoyable cruise along the beautiful waters.
