Flying First Class on Singapore Airlines to Sydney Australia
to visit Lora Christelle Lim
I love flying First Class on Singapore Airlines. It is one of the Best Airlines In The World voted by Traveller's World Magazine (Germany) for the 3rd consecutive year and Top Worldwide Airlines by Wanderlust Travel Award (UK) for the 6th consecutive year, 11th time in the awards. Singapore Airlines is voted the Top 50 World's Most Admired Companies in Fortune Magazine (USA), ranked at 31st. It is also the Best Airline of the Year by the 2012 Golden Chair Award (China). It is voted "Best of the Best" for the Best International First Class and Business Class Travel, also for their outstanding A380 Product, under the Hurun Report in China.
I love Singapore Changi Airport too! It has been voted the World's Best Airport at the 2013 World Airport Awards held at the Passenger Terminal EXPO in Geneva. This is the 4th time that Changi Airport have won this award. This award was voted by airport passengers from all over the world, based on a 12.1 million survey responses.
I fly to Sydney pretty often to visit Lora on numerous occasions. Lora takes me out to visit many places in Sydney.
Sydney Chinatown
Chinatown is located in an urban locality in the southern part of Sydney Central Business District, in New South Wales. It is located at Haymarket and is Australia's biggest Chinatown. We spotted a very cute little cosy shop that sells fragrances and pretty tea pots. The place smells incredible.
Queen Victoria Building
The Queen Victoria Building (QVB) is a late nineteenth century building located in the Central Business District of Sydney. This building is a 3 minutes walk from Lora's place. This Romanesque Revival building was designed by George McRae and was constructed between 1893 and 1898. It is located around George, Market, York and Druitt Streets. This building is filled with luxury brands like Ferragamo, Versace, etc. My favourite shop is their Australian Haigh's Chocolates.
The building is very nicely furnished. There is a grand piano in the middle of the shopping mall whereby a pianist would play their beautiful music pieces to sooth the shoppers in the mall. A lot of upper class like to go to their coffee and tea sessions.

The Tea Room (QVB)
The Tea Room is very beautiful and elegantly designed High Tea place. This is where we indulged in their wide variety of tea and gourmet coffee. The pastries and scones served were delectable.
To celebrate the Autumn Winter Season, there is an exclusive Fashion High Tea Event in The Tea Room on 25 May 2013. You are able to enjoy your High Tea whilst enjoy a showcase of the key Autumn Winter Collections from QVB Fashion Stores. You may also enjoy express manicures, lipstick touch ups by Aveda and L'Occitane hand spas. Each guest would receive a complimentary gift bag and stand a chance to win a prepaid $1000 MasterCard card, sponsored by Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.

Sydney Darling Harbour
Darling Harbour is a harbour located in the city centre of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is named after a Lieutenant General called Ralph Darling. During the Great Depression, the eastern part of Darling Harbour became known as The Hungry Mile, where water side workers swarmed to look for jobs along the wharves. It is currently the home location for many places of interest, such as the Sydney Aquarium, Natural Wildlife Park, Maritime Museum, etc. There are also a lot of restaurants located there. I have visited quite a few different ones.

Magaritaville @ Sydney Darling Harbour
Magaritaville is located at the start of Darling Harbour nearer to Wharf 7. The play loud live music there and I assure you that the band that plays there, is more drunk than anyone else in the house. The sings like a total drunken, but he sounds super good in the drunk way. It was very entertaining to watch him perform. My favourite dish there was the NACHOS. It was a mountain of Nachos. Totally sinful, but extremely delicious. This particular dish may be shared with 3-4 friends, together with their signature Magaritas.

Australian National Maritime Museum
The Australian National Maritime Musem (ANMM) is located at Sydney Darling Harbour. The museum building was designed by Philip Cox. It was official opened in 1991 after much delays. The museum has 7 main galleries, focusing on the relationships between the Australian Aborigines and the water. There are 3 Museum Ships - The HM Bark Endeavour Replica, The Destroyer HMAS Vampire and the Submarine HMAS Onslow, which are open to public, while smaller historical vessels may be viewed from the outside.

I was lucky enough to take some photos with some maritime students who were there for their class excursions. They were very friendly students. Next up, my parents and I went to The Star Casino to play some Texas Holdem Poker and we also watched The Musical - The War Horse.
CYREN Darling Harbour
CYREN is a grill bar and restaurant that serves amazing fresh seafood. Its prime location of being the first restaurant in front of Darling Harbour when you are walking from the IMAX Cinema, it is easily spotted by all patrons. It is a relaxing place to enjoy the whole view of the darling harbour while dining al fresco. It is the perfect location to watch the Saturday night fireworks at 8pm while feasting of their freshly served seafood. The best time to dine there is when the sun is setting. Just look at how beautiful the purple skies is, it is undoubtedly the most spectacular view of Darling Harbour. After my dinner, I went back to Fraser Suites Hotel to have a good night's rest.
Fraser Suites Hotel Sydney
Fraser Suites Hotel is located at Kent Street. It is very close to Lora's Sydney apartment, hence I deciede to stay walking distance to her. Fraser Suites is a 42 level tower which offers 201 self contained lucury studios and apartments. It is a 6-metre rainfall chandelier when you enter their lobby. A very modern and luxury hotel suite. It cost approximately AUD$285 - AUD$390 a night for a One Bedroom Premier Apartment.

Fuku Sake & Wine Bar
World Square Sydney
So, apart from just visiting my dearest sister, Lora. I also met up with some friends, Matthew and Mitchel. We went to Fuku Sake and Wine Bar at World Square Building for dinner. The food there was really tasty. The design of the place was woody. The restaurant have a large array of wine from Australian, French, etc. We had some cold sake together with our food. The dim setting is really romantic. I love the ambience there. Very peaceful and cosy.

Westfield Sydney
The next day, I also went to Westfield to check out their retail shops. There's this tea shop, called Tea Too that caught my attention. They sell many different types of tea. It looks really cute. There are quite a few tea that you can try while you decide on which tea to buy. We also had some Macarons and coffee at Australia's first Ladurée, located at Westfield. It has a super long queue but we still managed to get seats there.

Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver
James Trevor "Jamie" Oliver is a British Chef and Media personality. known for his television shows and cook books. He is known for his good looks and he strives to improve unhealthy diets and poor cooking habits in the United Kingdom and United States. Oliver is famous for his Italian cuisines. He has his own restaurant in Sydney. Rachel, Lora and I decided to try out their food. We had their pastas. The place is really trendy and they do not take reservations (unless you have a table of 6-20 people). It is purely walk-ins only. So by 5pm, you will see a long queue forming outside their place. Most of the people would wait at their bar and enjoy some pre-dinner drinks before their meal.
