Most brides love wearing white wedding gowns as they exude pristine purity but doning a colored wedding gown injects an element of flirty fun and vibrance to achieve a cheerful overall effect. I chose this "Tangerine" gown as this photo shoot took place during the Chinese New Year festive period and "Tangerine" in Chinese sounds similar to "luck" so I hope that wearing this gown will help to bring me auspicious good luck. As it was the final dress that I wore for the shoot, my sister Sara Shantelle Lim and girlfriends Natasha Kittisara and Enne Tan joined us to create an interesting and fun photoshoot with many candid and spontaneous shots. The girls were happily posing and jumping off the bed to show their happiness for me. I was glad that I could just sit and look pretty. I guess they were high on champagne and chocolates. The girls were also in awe of my giant Swarovski Crystal ring which I got from the Singapore International Jewelry Exhibition (SIJE) 2013 held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. What an interesting shoot! It was a memorable day filled with joy, fun and laugher! Love you girls :) You can always count on your girlfriends to bring out the best in you!

Lora and Beautiful Love Wedding - I was delighted to work with Beautiful Love Wedding as they are a very professional bridal boutique in Singapore that not only carries the most elegant, beautiful and exquisite wedding gowns, they are extremely passionate about the work they do. I had the opportunity to take a look at all the designs of their newest collection of Wedding Gowns, discuss my personal preference and finally decide on which gowns I would like to wear for my pre-wedding photo shoot. I selected a total of 3 wedding gowns which included the "Princess" gown, the "Grace" gown under the Grandeur Collection and the "Tangerine" gown under the Colours Collection. White has always been my favorite color so it should not come as a surprise that I chose 2 white gowns out of the 3.
