SYDNEY - Celebrating TEMASEK CLUB NSW 25th Anniversary and Singapore's National Day with Principal Sponsor SINGAPORE AIRLINES - This event was held at Four Points by Sheraton Darling Harbour Hotel located in Sydney City and it is Temasek Club NSW second major event of the year ever since the Chinese Lunar New Year dinner held earlier this year. Charity proceeds from this event goes to Bear Cottage which provides palliative care, temporary respite, end of life care and bereavement support for families. This event had many attractive Lucky Draw Prizes and there was a live auction for Singapore Airlines Business Class Air Tickets from Sydney to Singapore. I did not bid for the tickets as I cannot leave Australia until I get my PR. So I am waiting... very patiently...
I attended the event together with my lovely girlfriends Angela Deng and Stefanie Lin. We had a wonderful evening catching up over dinner as well as participating actively in the games organized. I have always believed in donating to Charity and giving back to the community, so I bought several Charity Raffle Tickets.
To my great surprise and amazement, I won the Charity Lucky Draw where the prize was a One Night Hotel Stay at Park Royal Darling Harbour Hotel inclusive of Breakfast. I never thought I could win as in reality, the chances of winning was actually very slim as there were around 230 people at this event and many people bought multiple Charity Raffle Tickets. When they called out my number, I leaped out of my chair in great joy! I was so happy! I guess I am a very lucky person! During the last Lunar Chinese New Year dinner event, I also won an Ayam Brand Hamper during the Charity Lucky Draw :)

I am always missing Singapore and my family and one great way to get closer to home was to join the Temasek Club NSW in Sydney where the social club consists of mostly Singaporeans and people who love Singapore! One of the highlights of the night was the exciting dance performance by XO CROSSOVER Dance Studio. The energetic and talented dancers perform street dancing and free style dancing. Director - Jaye Sutato is also the person responsible for organizing the KPOP Summit in Sydney. To engage the audience further, the dancers invited the current and ex-Presidents of Temasek Club NSW to compete in a dance battle. It was highly entertaining to watch each of them perform their very best by learning various dance movements from the members of Crossover Dance Group. I must say dancing to music brings great joy to everyone!
Oh yes, before attending the Temasek Club NSW Event, I had a wonderful brunch with Anna and Jinah at Cafe Morso, Pyrmont, Sydney City where we celebrated Ebon's birthday over wine and delicious food. It was a beautiful day to dine by the Pyrmont waters :) After which, I rushed off to send my Lamborghini Gallardo Spider for Oil and Filter servicing as it was due already.

SYDNEY - Ferrari Club Drive to Lakehouse Cafe at Murrays Beach - It was a beautiful Sunday morning where the sun was shining brightly in the skies, filling each crack and crevice on earth with light and warmth. I woke up early, dressed in my new shiny white dress with a red knitted cardigan, put on my favorite red Miu Miu pair of shoes with shimmering crystals, together with my Ferrari Cap and red Yves Saint Lauren clutch bag, I dashed out of home and rushed to attend this event. I was filled with excitement as I have not attended a Ferrari Club event for quite some time due to my busy schedule. I love meeting the Ferrari Club people as they are a bunch of really nice and friendly people!
Ferrari Club, NSW, Australia - The great thing about owning a super car such as a Ferrari or Lamborghini is the ability to join a Club full of the same car enthusiasts or car nuts. It is where driving an exotic car goes beyond prestige and instead, it is part of a passion, love and deeper appreciation about driving the car. It is absolutely naive to think car owners of exotic cars buy cars simply to show off. Most of the people at the Ferrari club are humble, down to earth and genuinely nice. It is a good mix of Diamond Jewellers, Medical Doctors, Surgeons, School Teachers, University Lecturers, Accountants, Lawyers, IT Professionals and successful Business Owners etc. They are respectable family men who bring their beautiful wives and children along every event. Most are absolutely big Ferrari car fans and they love the Ferrari brand as much as I do. After all, the Italian super car brand Ferrari is the number 1 most powerful and valuable brand in the World. I always wear my Ferrari cap and clothing with pride and sometimes feel "empowered" by my "Ferrari Outfit" with the innate feeling to shine with happiness. I know I am lucky and fortunate to be able to own a total of 4 cars since moving to Sydney, Australia where cars are much more affordable than back in Singapore. It is a form of passion and enjoyment to take my beautiful cars out on long drives to explore the countryside and beautiful beaches that Australia has to offer. A unique experience like no other :)
Lakehouse Cafe - Located approximately 1.5-2 hours drive away from Sydney in the Murrays Beach, Central Coast region, the Lakehouse Cafe is renowned for its mouth-watering dishes and I was greatly impressed with the Eggs Benedict with Salmon which I ordered. It was fresh, delicious and my hot Mocha was fantastic. The cafe has a relaxed, cosy feel with its intimate setting and contemporary interior design. I love how the cafe was strategically located among the high tree line so that diners can enjoy magnificent views of Lake Macquarie. A beautiful place to dine and later take a relaxing stroll by the waters to soak in the tranquility and natural surroundings is good for the soul. Healthy relaxation! Diners can also customize their very own menu to suit their palate as the dishes are categorized according to textures and tastes - Crunchy, Smoky, Spicy, Zesty, Silky, Saucy, Juicy etc. It was my mummy's birthday and I wanted to take her somewhere special so we've decided to try the food at Xperience restaurant and it was a fantastic dining experience! The food served was delicious and carefully prepared by the chefs who take great pride in their dishes. The food focus on textures and consistency. We were greatly satisfied by the tantalizing cuisine and the fantastic cocktails that were tailored to pair together with our food. We were very impressed that they even have a resident DJ Che Molly to spin great music so we can groove to the funky tunes during our culinary experience. It was an interesting and memorable dining experience as my family and I enjoyed ourselves tremendously in the luxurious restaurant and hotel.
