FASHION - Ashley Isham's Exclusive & Intimate Collection Showcase @ Robinsons Orchard - My sister Lora Christelle & I were specially invited to attend this lovely event but unfortunately Lora is still in Sydney. It was a small and intimate event where only special VIP guests were invited and Ashley Isham himself was present. The collection presented had a mixture of simple chic pieces and also consisted of the more flamboyant sequin couture pieces to help make a bold statement.

Both of us are great fans of Ashley Isham's designer clothings as we find them chic, elegant and versatile which makes them suitable for various occasions. Ashley Isham is most well known for his signature draping, strong tailoring, and his distinctive blend of high octane fashion and contemporary styling that has won him an army of followers devoted to his vision.

Opened just in time for Christmas, ROBINSONS Orchard has 6 floors and 186,000 square feet of retail, food and beverage bliss in The Heeran. Head up to level 3 to take a look at homegrown Draperie by Ashley Isham. "A Few Of My Favourite Things" by Ashley Isham is also on showcase At The Red Carpet Event on Level 3.

London-based extraordinary - Ashley Isham was born in Singapore but moved to London in 1996 to pursue his career in fashion, graduating with a degree from Middlesex University. Ashley's debut collection launched in Nov 2000 was a huge success and he continued to showcase his collection at London Fashion week every season. Ashley Isham's success in fashion has done Singapore proud!

Ashley Isham's collections are often described as "stylish, flamboyant and elegant" and he has dressed increasingly high profile clientele, international celebrities and royalty. Celebrities which include Lady Gaga, Princess Zara Philips, Kylie Minogue, Christina Aguilera at 2007 Grammy Awards etc.

They even have a special area at the Rotunda for weddings to take place. It is a beach that is positioned to allow visitors to enjoy views of Sydney Harbour National Park and the gateway to Sydney Harbour.

SYDNEY - The Bathers' Pavilion - Situated on one end of Balmoral beach, this restaurant serves delicious and impeccable cuisine to match the stunning view of the waters. The menu changes with the season and prides itself only to serve the freshest produce bought from small Australian producers.

Managed by Owner / Executive Chef Serge Dansereau and Cameron Johnston,  The Bathers' Pavilion   has eclectic lunch and dinner menus with strong focus on fresh produce to create French cuisine with a twist. On the other side of the restaurant is the cafe where visitors can enjoy snacks or simply a delicious coffee at more affordable prices. Their breakfast menu is sumptuous and worth the calories! I enjoy their delicious hot chocolate drink the most especially on a cold windy day by the beach. Overall, the restaurant and its sister cafe adds to Balmoral's beach beauty and definitely worth a visit! A lovely place to enjoy a meal or drinks with breath-taking water views :)

SYDNEY - Devon Cafe @ Surry Hills

SYDNEY - Devon Cafe @ Surry Hills - Every weekend I look forward to exploring new cafes in Sydney for brunch. Devon Cafe was highly recommended by my girlfriend Tourmaline who just moved from Singapore to Sydney and I was impressed by their creative brunch menu.

Situated conveniently beside Central Station, Devon Cafe is opened by 2 renowned chefs from Bistro Guillaume - sous chef Zacharay Tan and chef Jacqui Ekortors. I like the fact that there was ample parking outside and I could keep watch of my Ferrari while eating on the bench. I had to be careful as people tend to bang into other cars especially drivers who can't do parallel parking for nuts.

We ordered their delicious Ice Mocha and it is one of the best I've ever had! The Ice Mocha tasted heavenly with the perfect blend of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The Fruitti Berri drink tasted absolutely refreshing too if you prefer something healthy! Under the waitress's recommendation, we ordered the items with the most unique names such as "Breakfast with the Sakuma's" (Aud24.50) which comprises of miso grilled king salmon, smoked eel croquette, 63' egg, radish petit salad and kepi mayonnaise and the "Ogre's Happy Meal"(Aud21) which consisted of ox-tongue, hash potatoes, cauliflower puree, picked onion & fried egg. Food & drinks were tasty, delicious and interesting. Overall, we enjoyed our Sunday brunch and would definitely come back again!

Note: It could get pretty crowded so do go early to avoid waiting in long queues *winks-

We visited Devon Cafe again on Sunday and ordered different items to try. The owner Noni Widjaja, a friendly Indonesian lady suggested I try their White Truffle Carbonara Pasta with herbs and bacon (Aud60) and my my, it tasted heavenly! An expensive dish due to the rare white truffle imported from overseas. We also tried the Citrus King Salmon (Aud18) and it was really refreshing and appetizing!

After owning a Ferrari F360 spider and a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, we are aiming to buy a McLaren MP4-12C Spider but the price is pretty high. It would take some time to save up enough money for this luxury purchase. I will keep you guys updated :) We are deciding between the 2 colors of the iconic McLaren Orange or the Volcanic Orange which has an unusual glow, which do you prefer? Leave your comments below :)

One of the perks of being an entrepreneur is that you can choose to work whenever you like. We went on a boat trip on a weekday where there were less people out at sea. We all gathered at One Degree Fifteen, Sentosa, at around 2pm in the afternoon and brought along lots of drinks and chips!

FUN FACT: Why is this place called One Degree Fifteen??

Answer: This Marina Club is actually 1 degree and fifteen minutes away from the Equator! 

Look at how cool Esther is, being in total control of the boat. The water was a little choppy that day, but still bearable. No one puked from sea sickness. I guess, we were well prepared. We all took a "Dramamine" pill each, to counter the motion sickness. But who drinks medication with beer!? Omg... Mayne, u looked really sultry with that huge sunglasses! :)

We cruised to St John's island, which was about 10 minutes or so away. We docked there, with other boats around us too. Looks like, a lot of people don't need to work on a weekday?!? 

Some of us went swimming. Well, actually I was dragged in, literally. Thanks to Mr "Bar Bar Black Sheep" owner who simply pulled my ankles while he was in the water. I was soaked wet in my long summer dress. I love this BEBE dress which was long, classy and most importantly, very comfortable!

The weather was cloudy so it was not too hot. We had great fun swimming in the cool waters...

Around evening when it started to rain, we chilled indoors and indulged in delicious mouth watering SINS Chocolates brought by its very own owner. By the way, I really loved the "Cherry Liquor Chocolate", its a full shot on liquor hidden in the chocolate.

My Prince Royale shaved away his beautiful white fur

SINGAPORE - My Prince Royale has been rather moody these days and after bringing it to a vet, we discovered that it is suffering from a hotspot on its tail. He is always hiding under the sofa and below the beds which we found rather strange...

We had to shave his beautiful white fur away and put on the lamp shade to prevent it from biting its own tail.  He still looks cute and adorable despite shaving off his fur. Hope he gets well soon! We love Prince Royale very much :)

Oh yes before I forget, Prince Royale has also been climbing up to sit on the sofa for the first time. We were laughing so hard as he is trying very much to be "human" which is so hilarious!!!

This Singapore trip has been a really busy one, I haven't had time or chance to catch up with many friends except for short meetings with my girlfriends Fiona Ong, Jasmin Tay & Melissa Goh :) These girlfriends have been true friends to me despite me moving to Sydney as they have making extra efforts to keep in touch with me. I'm grateful for their kind friendship!!!

SYDNEY - Fine Dining - Altitude Restaurant @ Shangri-La Hotel Sydney - I visited Altitude restaurant for dinner and I must say it was a really memorable experience. It's a beautiful restaurant located on the 36 level of Shangri-La hotel Sydney and the view was simply breath-taking!

It provided a relaxing ambience for the indulgence of contemporary Australian fine cuisine and the perfect place for a romantic night out. The floor to ceiling glass windows provided spectacular views of the Sydney Harbor Bridge as well as the Sydney Opera House. No wonder it is usually fully booked as it is one of Sydney's top favorite restaurant for tourists.

Chef de cuisine Matthew McCool worked in several top restaurants before moving to Altitude restaurant. He has previously worked for Aria Restaurant in Shangri-La Hotel Beijing as well as London's Michelin star restaurants. The menu at Altitude Restaurant is artful and creative, distinguished by its European influences. The delicious cuisine aims to bring dining to the next level with "inventive dishes that play with textures, temperatures and contrasting but complementing tastes". 

We ordered from the ala-carte menu and I must say the Salmon served with horseradish, watercress, pancetta soil tasted heavenly. It was cooked just right with a little pink so it just melts in your mouth. The Wagyu beef also tasted really delicious and tender. The Scallops cooked with black pudding, apple and Mt. Buffalo hazelnuts were fresh and tasted interestingly good! The Milk chocolate & hazelnut dessert was the perfect ending to a delightful dinner. Overall, it was a really delicious dinner and I would definitely come back again. Altitude is a fine dining restaurant that prides itself for using only the freshest Australian produce to leave all guests fully satisfied.
