Ocean Restaurant by Lady Iron Chef Cat Cora @ Resorts World Sentosa - It was my family's second time dining at this mystical Ocean Restaurant as my Aunt and Uncle wanted to visit this restaurant after reading our blog and hearing so much about it. It was a lovely dinner and we realized there were more marine life such as sharks and bigger Manta rays swimming around!

I booked a big table for 6 people for the 8.30pm slot about 2 weeks in advanced. They have 2 seatings, one at 6.30pm and another at 8.30pm. It is usually full house so please make early bookings to avoid disappointment.

It was an appreciation dinner for my Aunt and Uncle so dinner was on me! My aunty and uncle are wine and champagne lovers, hence they brought a bottle of amazing 1998 Cannuri Boschis Red Wine and a Dom Perignon. Thank you! I love red wine too! My uncle has the best taste in wine. He always have the most delicious and top notched wine in his wine cellar. I remembered a time, whereby he let my cousins and I try a red wine that tasted like Chocolate. How cool is that right? And my aunty, she's the smartest aunt I have. She's always assisting the whole family in everything, like the big sister. 

We ordered the dinner set each and some oysters to share. Food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My sister Lora loves the Salmon dish as she said it was really fresh!

We had some oysters and salmon for the appetisers.

Some Truffle Soup, Beef and Lamb for our main courses and tea after.

We walked over to the main Ocean Hall to take a quick peek at the huge display of marine life!

It was a wonderful evening as guests were treated to free flow of various Balvenie whiskeys such as The Balvenie DoubleWood aged 12 years, The Balvenie Single Barrel aged 15 years, The Balvenie PortWood aged 21 years etc. Sara and I also tried the delicious cocktails that were specially designed mixed with vanilla and soda water which tasted fantastic!

There was lovely music played by a live band and I truely enjoyed the beautiful jazz music. There were several craftsmen who were showcasing their unique skills and craftsmanship. It was a wonderful evening where we sat by the bar, listened to beautiful music and tasted the finest whiskeys which titillate our palate!

It was also a night where we had drinks as part of Keith's farewell as he has secured a job at Deutsche Bank Hong Kong and relocating there very soon :)

Day 1

How to Set Up a Website and link a Paypal account to it.

On day 1, I've learned how to set up a Website Domain Name, using www.namecheap.com. I also learned how to buy a Hosting server, to create my website, using www.Hostgator.com. We were taught how to link up the domain URL and host server using a DNS Nameserver. Peng Joon also taught us how to sign up for a PAYPAL account to link it onto the website to earn money, by selling E-books and Membership sites. Anyone can create a website by using www.wordpress.com to set up the website template, pages and blog posts. 

Day 2

Using Amazon & Clickbank to Make Money Online, through Affiliate Marketing.

On Day 2 of our course, we learnt how to use www.Amazon.com and www.ClickBank.com on how to make money online. Basically, all you need to do is to sign up a FREE account on these two websites, and start promoting their products for others. You do not need to write your own E-book, or have your own products. You can always sell for other people and get a commission from selling their products.

How to Lose Weight and Look like a Pageant Queen & Manhunt King

I recently attended a new charity beauty pageant called the Miss Singapore Global. It took placed on 31 August at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

This pageant is different from other pageants as they look for INNER Beauty, Purpose and Transformation.

This is a video of what this pageant is all about.

KS was really lovely to invite my sister and I to this dinner event. I bumped into quite a number of friends, like Adeline Yeo, Catherine Ng, Frances Low, Daniel Phang, Adrian, Ronnie Wee, Yvonne Tan, etc.

These are some of the contestants involved in this Miss Singapore Global 2013. The winner would be representing Singapore in Jamaica later this year.

There were 8 finalists in total and the pageant had a fundraising auction, displaying Victoria Secret Inspired Wings to raise funds for a social enterprise called "Mother and Child Project" which gives support to women in crisis. The wings were auctioned off for close to SGD23,000 in total to buyers in less than 30 minutes! I guess they are really popular among the audience.

Genecia Luo was featured on the front page of Singapore's NEWPAPER, last Sunday, 1 September 2013. The papers wrote, Singaporean beauty queen in Singapore who has gone for 100 dates with a matchmaking agency without success at finding a partner though she has attributed it to Singaporean men being intimidated by her success. News of this was reported in her interview with local tabloid "The New Paper" http://www.tnp.sg/content/100-dates-and-still-looking-mr-right . 

She's a beauty queen. She can earn $500,000 a year. But Genecia Luo, 29, has gone on more than 100 dates set up by a dating agency and has not yet found The One. People say most Singaporean men are intimidated by her success but I believe someone will be able to win her heart very soon :)

I also bumped into Manhunt 2012, Jason Chee, who is the owner of Abvolution Singapore.

Jason Chee has been placed in several contests he entered in Singapore such as Manhunt Singpore, Calendar Guys, CLEO Singapore's Most Eligible Bachelors. He won the title Best Model Singapore 2011, and represented Singapore at the Best Model of the World 2011 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on July 30, 2011. At the end of the final competition, Chee was proclaimed the Best in Asia. On Manhunt International 2012 which was held in Bangkok Thailand on November 9, 2012, Chee representing the Singapore topped the Mr. Internet Popularity poll and instantly won the first slot in the pageant’s semi-finals. At the end of the night, he became the 4th runner-up.

The winner of Miss Singapore Global 2013 is Miss Jody Liu. She is 23 years old and is an environmental educator wishes to educate people on converting food waste into fertilizers for sustainability. She will represent Singapore in the international competition in Jamaica on 28 Sept 2013. We wish her all the best of luck and hope she wins :)
