Larry Splendour 2013 - Bejeweled Fantasy - Specially presented by Larry Jewelry, this event was held at Four Seasons hotel on a Sunday afternoon where VIP guests and members were treated to a Jewelry fashion show, delicious buffet lunch as well as special discounts for their latest 2013 jewelry collections.

My girlfriends C and Y were dressed to the nines for this event. C with her Hermes Birkin handbag and outstanding Christian Louboutin shoes while Y was looking marvellous with her Chanel Vintage handbag and fine diamond jewelry. I love C's shoes alot as they sparkle like diamonds!!! This pair of Christian Louboutin shoes cost more than SGD2,000 dollars and it's hard to find it in stores!

Larry Jewelry was established in 1967 and is renowned for its unsurpassed mastery in jewelry design, gem setting technique and for using gem quality high-grade precious stones for all its jewelry creations. All their jewelry are made with impeccable and professional skills to ensure the highest standards and quality assured by a stringent quality control process.

The entire ballroom was decorated with lush greenery wallpaper, cute little mushrooms, butterflies, tortoises, colourful flowers decorated with beautiful Larry Jewelry which creates an overall Fantasy and Magical-like setting. I almost felt like a pixie lost in an enchanted forest with sparkling jewelry surrounding me!

It was a great experience walking to take a look at all the beautiful jewelry collections. I was invited to try on the Princess Tiara "Crown" which cost approximately SGD$130,000 as well as a Flower hairband which costs SGD$23,000. I felt like a royalty in a Fairyland! My girlfriend - Cindy Li was invited to try on a choker necklace which looked really beautiful on her.

C, Y and I also tried on a beautiful ring which was worn by the Lady Boss of Larry Jewelry!
I love how the ring sparkles with my Pink Shiny Gelish Nails (J.Nails) and my Tiffany & Co. bracelet :)

Chandon Summer Official Launch Party @ Lantern, Fullerton Bay Hotel - My girlfriends Zelia, Silvia and I were invited to this party and it was an enjoyable night of free flow of Chandon Brut sparkling wine.

The Chandon brand was created by the legendary Champagne house - Moët & Chandon in 1959.

Its new Summer edition bottle has nautical inspired colours to be enjoyed at the beach, a luxury yacht or a club. Check out more information at their website www.chandon.com :)

The taste of Chandon Brut was similar to sparkling champagne. It is made from traditional Champagne grape varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This sparkling wine tastes of apple and pear aromas with a touch of spice.

There was a swimwear fashion show by French Lingerie Label ETAM at the swimming pool by beautiful Caucasian models. The swimming pool was also decorated with many helium balloons according to the color theme of Blue, Red and White and many interestingly shaped floats were floating around in the pool.

Besides enjoying free flow of Chandon Brut, we had loads of fun playing with various props to take wacky photos in the Photo booth for memories sake. They also gave us a Chandon fan to keep ourselves cool due to the humid weather. Each of us also received 2 casino chips where we can use the chips to play games at the Numbers booth to win prizes. I won myself an Etam Swimwear bag!

Bumped into several familiar faces at this event and it was great catching up with David Fuhrmann-Lim who used to be the Senior editor of FHM Magazines. Most of the guests were invited by Her World Magazines and Chandon's trade partners.

Lantern at Fullerton Bay Hotel is a great chill out place to enjoy romantic views of Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum. The hotel itself is beautiful and I love the fresh flowers fragrance at their lobby area. The last time I came to Lantern was during my 26th Birthday Celebration!

J. Nails @ Jeric Salon - It was my first time visiting J. Nails at Plaza Singapura. It is conveniently located above Dhoby Ghaut Mrt Station on Level B1-14 of Plaza Singapura shopping mall. I was pretty excited as I heard many positive reviews from friends that they had very good nails manicurists. Having booked an appointment in advanced, the staff were expecting me and greeted me when I arrived. All their staff were friendly, warm and nice. They offered me Green Tea and some biscuits. They also passed me all the different available Gelish Nail Colours to choose from. Among all the nail parlours I've ever been to, J. Nails has the most different number of Gelish colours and designs to choose from. I was spoilt for choice!

So many beautiful Gelish colours to choose from... Which colour suits me best???

I have always painted my nails Red in order to match my Black outfits for work. However, this time I was persuaded to go for something different. After choosing a Glittery Light Pink Gelish Nail colour, the professional staff started my Gelish Manicure and Pedicure. I must say they are very gentle and did an amazing job removing my previous Gelish using the Soak Off method in a fast and efficient way.

I prefer Gelish Nails to regular nail polish as they last from 3 weeks to 1 month without chipping, fading of the nails. In short, they last longer! Gelish also takes a shorter time to apply as it only takes 10 minutes to dry after placing the nails in the UV/LED lamp. They also gave me wonderful hand and feet massage using the OPI Chamomile Mint Scrub which is formulated with natural sugar crystals to reduce calluses and smoothen dry, rough skin in a soothing and relaxing manner.

Below are the BEFORE and AFTER photos. I love my new Glittery Pink Gelish nails... they look so pretty!

Overall, I am very satisfied with the final outcome of my manicure and pedicure. My nails look perfect! They have done a brilliant job! I highly recommend J. Nails if you want a Nail Parlour that delivers high quality service and nail services.

SYDNEY - After dinner at BLACK at ezard, we went took a cab over to O BAR & Dining, which is located at the 47th Level of Australia Square Building. It was a rotating axis bar located at the top of the building. You are able to see the complete 360 degrees of the city just sitting at the top. An extremely romantic place to bring your love ones. 

But for us, it was a night to see how much can Matt drink. Apparently, we have NEVER seen him drunk, ever. So, it was GAME ON. Nancy, Ruth & Rob, teamed up, to have a battle against Matt. Not to forget, we all already had plenty of wine and Hendricks at BLACK by ezard. 

See those glasses there? Those are double shots each, glass. Matt would drink 12 double shots while, Ruth, Nancy and Rob will share the other 12 glasses. Sadly, its true, Matt didn't get drunk. He was still chatting with the hot waitresses at the bar, after downing all the drinks. He's really one talkative lad. Never stops talking! :X 

It was great fun. We took a mini group picture with more friends and also the really hot waitresses working at O BAR.

SYDNEY - Chef Teage Ezard is one of Australia's leading restaurateurs, who has championed in his Melbourne establishments - EZARD and GINGERBOY. BLACK by ezard is inspired by the great american grills and contemporary Europe. 

This gathering was awesome, we had 12 of us in total. We were seated at the exclusive VIP room that was at the corner of the place, sectioned off by a thick drape. 

We ordered a variety of entrées which was really delicious. I had the Sashimi, Scallops and Prawns for my entrées. 

TRUFFLES SEASON

It is also truffles season, so we had a choice to add some shaved truffles into most of our dishes. They were serving 1g of truffles at AUD$12. You are welcomed to add as much truffles as you liked. 

For my main course, I had their famous succulent Australian grass-fed wet and dry aged beef, specially sourced to suit the wood fired grills, broilers and sous vide cooking. It was really tasty. They say beef is best served medium rare. That's how I had it~ Their duck and lamp there taste pretty good as well. It tasted even better with some red wine. I also had some refreshing Hendricks Gin and Tonic.

The chef's profile was catapulted to the international stage in 2004, when he joined forces with Hong Kong's JIA Boutique Hotel to launch two restaurants – Opia and Y's. Both were an instant hit, with the former named Restaurant of the Year in Hong Kong's South China Morning Post, and the two short-listed for Best New Restaurant in Wallpaper* Magazine.

The food was tantalizing, the ambience was really amazing. Everyone had fun! We moved on to OBAR for more drinks after this fantastic dinner.
