Broadway’s Tony-Nominated Smash Hit Musical & JULIET premieres in Asia this September at Sands Theatre.
Janice my wildest and most fun girlfriend invited me to join her at the Red Carpet Gala Premier of The Musical: & Juliet. Oh wait, what happened to Romeo? Where oh where is Romeo? We all read this classic literature famous love story when we were kids in school. This musical has a twist of fate for both Romeo and Juliet as Romeo died and Juliet survived only to be engaged to another young man called Francois in Paris. This musical is proven to be edgy, loud, and fun, despite its classic music soundtracks from Back Street Boys, Katy Perry, Jessie J, Robyn, Kesha, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, Adam Lambert, NSYNC, Pink, Bon Jovi, and Justin Timberlake and more. You will recognize songs that you have listened to when you were a teenager and sing along for sure. Its amazing how they complied all these classic songs and turned it into an amazing and impressive musical show.
Just from the title of this musical, you would think that this show is all about Juliet. Yes, she is the main character of this show, but Romeo appeared at the end of set 1, and stole a little lime light as he is one really tall and good looking chap with a really nice voice. Not to forget, May, a character that fell in love with Juliet's fiancée - Francois. He has the most angelic face and voice in this whole musical. Even I fell in love with him. Everyone in this show has a really good voice and you would be so impressed.
Throughout the whole musical, I found myself dancing (in my seat) and singing along to all the songs they sang. Many others were also dancing in their seats. If we weren't blocking the people sitting behind us, Janice and I would definitely jump up and dance (standing up). It was very uplifting musical, I felt good after watching the show, really speaks about being confident as a woman. Juliet the main character had a really strong voice, but even singers like Angelic the nurse had a really strong voice too. I also love the accents they had, which really made the whole musical even funnier.

Italian Dinner at Marina Bay Sands Rooftop Restaurant LAVO
As usual, Janice and I always have dinner together before our musical dates, this time we had dinner at Lavo, an Italian rooftop bar and restaurant at Marina Bay Sands. Not only can you view the whole Singapore's southern waterfront from the top level of Marina Bay Sands, they also served really delicious and affordable Italian Pizza, Pasta, and dessert. My favourite Italian dish is their Truffles Beef Carpaccio, I can finally eat it, after being pregnant back to back with two babies under 2 years old now. We also ordered a Truffles Pizza which was huge, I think 2-3 girls can share their pizza. We both had a Black Stout to enjoy our meal.
Of course, we needed to take a photo of their famous LAVO Light Box at the entrance of their restaurant. You can see the beautiful view of Singapore from this place.
I carried my Limited Edition Lady Dior Bag today. I love it! Bling Bling! They only had 1 of such bag when I bought this from Dior Singapore.

I went to Cartier to expand my Limited Edition Watch. Yes, I got fatter from my pregnancy, so I needed to expand my watch. I bought this watch from Cartier New York at around USD$35,000. Cartier don't sell this watch anymore and I've checked, the price of this Cartier Delices De Cartier Rose Gold Women's Watch is now selling at around USD$36,500+. Its polished solid 18k rose gold case and bracelet. Polished solid 18k rose gold fixed bezel set with 58 diamonds. Silver dial with Roman numeral hour markers.

We went to check out the most popular, most famous, and most luxurious night club in Singapore that is located at Marina Bay Sands. It was very beautiful with their indoors ferris wheel and amazing glow in the dark slide. How fun!
