L'OFFICIEL 7th Anniversary Birthday Bash - L'Officiel is now 7 years old! Happy Birthday to this high end Luxury Fashion Magazine. I was invited by Nick T to attend this event at Ion Orchard Singapore. They had an indoor booth whereby the guests would register and receive a shimmering ribbon that allows us entry into the main stand at the outdoors area, just right outside Dior. It was a really lovely party with many beautiful people as invited VIP guests.

I invited my hot and beautiful girlfriends to attend this event with me. I asked Natasha, Sim Bian and Rachel to join me to grace this event. It was really fun to hang out with a bunch of fun-loving and bubbly girls. 

L'Officiel event served free flow of Perrier Jouet Champagne and as you know, all girls love Champagne. We had lots of fun there enjoying the sparkling champagne together with great music and awesome company.

No one knows how to drink Champagne like Sim Bian. Look at the number of glasses on our table... 

Nothing's better than a Girls Night Out! 

After this event, we went to Balaclava at ION Level 5 to enjoy the air con for a bit as it was a little hot and hazy that night. Balaclava is a nice chill out bar and we ended the night there.

Fashion - MaxMara Winter Collection Showcase at ION Orchard Atrium - I was invited to MaxMara's design for easy living event by Mercury Events where they showcased their winter wear collection. MaxMara or The House of MaxMara is an Italian fashion house known for its ready to wear clothing line. It was established in 1951 by Achille Maramotti. In 2008, MaxMara have expanded to over 2,254 stores in over 90 countries. 

MaxMara is made in Italy. Their designs are classy, simple and chic. MaxMara has spawned 35 labels, such as Sportmax, Sportmax Code, Weekend MaxMara, Pennyblack, iBlues, Max & Co, etc. As of 2013, Jennifer Garner is the first and only spokesperson of Max Mara. They will be launching their campaign really soon in Vouge, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, W, Instyle, The New York Times, and the International Herald Tribune. 

VIP Guests were treated to free flow of Moet Champagne and some delicious canapés. The event was sponsored by Awfully Chocolate where guests walked home with door gifts filled with delicious cakes & MaxMara magazine. 

Most of their winter jackets cost around SGD$3000+. Happy shopping there! 

We ended our night having some drinks at Balaclava before heading home!

Salt Grill & Sky Bar @ ION Orchard Shopping Mall Singapore - I had a lovely dinner at this beautiful restaurant situated on the highest level of my favourite Ion Orchard Shopping Mall on level 55 and 56. Perched on the top floor in an opulent and grand setting, this restaurant offers diners a fantastic view of Singapore's City. Definitely a unique restaurant with a bird's eye view!

Salt Grill & Sky Bar is opened by renowned Australian Celebrity Chef - Luke Mangan which serves Modern Australian cuisine inspired by new ingredients and traditional techniques using the freshest produce available. They pride themselves with using the highest quality and freshest ingredients to create simple dishes that taste excellent to the palate. This 6,000 square feet restaurant provides an elegant and beautiful ambience to diners to create a memorable dining experience against the stunning backdrop of Singapore's city skyline.

The Salt Grill Menu contains Fresh Australian produce and are carefully sourced for their high quality. The restaurant was named after Salt which was considered a rare and expensive commodity in ancient Greece, given only to people as a sign of hospitality, friendship and warmth. These special traits are what Luke's service philosophy stems from and also the result of Salt's success. Their Degustation Menu appears to be the most appealing as we could sample all their signature dishes!

We ordered the degustation menu that costs SGD140++ per person and an additional SGD99++ to include wine pairing. Food was served prompt and quick without much wait. Among all the dishes, I love the Roast foie gras the best as it was cooked to perfection! Below are all the dishes we ate!

Lastly, the exciting dishes were the desserts which tasted amazingly delicious! I love how they were beautiful crafted and presented on the plate. I also enjoyed my Peppermint tea as it aids digestion!

Finally, the total bill for this dinner was close to SGD500. It was quite expensive but worth the experience! A highly recommended restaurant with a beautiful view or for a romantic date! It was kinda funny how they got my name spelt on the final bill too! Customized service indeed! Can't run!

On Level 56, the Sky bar offers patrons the luxury of having pre or post dinner drinks while enjoying the breathtaking views of Singapore's city and the bustling Orchard city area filled with zest and life!

Secret Note: Do request for a table near the windows in order to capture the best views during sunset!
