FERRARI CLUB AUSTRALIA
If you own a Ferrari, we would love for you to join the club!

17 May 2015 - FERRARI CLUB AUSTRALIA DRIVE TO CAVES BEACH - After the event at Le Montage, I joined the Ferrari Club Australia NSW Members club for a drive to Caves Beach and Caves Beach hotel for a fantastic lunch. It was a lovely drive in a fashionably bright red convoy towards the North of Sydney City on the M1 freeway and like Robert mentioned "Just follow the red car!" It was a sunny day and more than 30 Ferraris turned up for this pretty big event. We did managed to turn many heads driving along the roads down to Caves Beach. Beautiful weather, fast speed, scenic routes made a wonderful drive day in my Ferrari 360 Spider. Thank you Sam Movizio from Auto Salon d'Elegance who made my Ferrari looking sparkly new and gleaming under the sun.

I wore my pretty "bling bling" Crystal Shoes from MIU MIU that cost me around AUD $1000.

CAVES BEACH - It was my first time at Caves Beach and I realized it was pretty close to my home. We had lunch at the newly renovated Caves Beach hotel which had pretty decent food and live entertainment. They reserved a VIP area for all Ferrari Club Members so we were able to enjoy a private area to ourselves. I also managed to make some new friends who live in the Lake Macquarie area. I must say Australia is remarkably beautiful and there are always so many new places to explore. I am very lucky to live in Australia where driving around to scenic locations makes me a very happy girl :) It is always a refreshing experience to drive to new places! I am looking forward to the next Ferrari Club drive. If you own a Ferrari, you are welcome to join the club! The Ferrari Club Australia regularly organized fantastic events for all club members and everyone is just so friendly and nice :) I am so looking forward to visiting the Ferrari Museum and Factory in Italy in June 2015!

FERRARI CLUB AUSTRALIA
If you own a Ferrari, we would love for you to join the club!

SYDNEY - WOLLONGONG - Sublime Point Cafe - 26 April 2015 - Organized by Robert and Simon from Ferrari Club Australia NSW Members Club, some of us met up for early breakfast at Double Bay, Sydney at around 8:30am. Double Bay, located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney is one of the richest suburbs in Sydney City where luxury cars line the streets, upmarket cafes and restaurants serve gourmet coffee and food to the fashionably dressed elite customers and is a place to meet and be seen. All of us enjoyed a wholesome and delicious breakfast before heading off in "Ferrari fashion" :) Despite the rainy weather, nothing can dampen our spirits as driving a Ferrari is always a special occasion for us. The club consists of many die-hard Ferrari fans who are passionate about the car, history and brand. We drove towards Kyeemagh to meet up another some other Ferrari Club members and proceeded towards Wollongong.

McLaren 650S Spider - There was a special guest appearance of a brand new McLaren 650S Spider newly collected by one Ferrari club member - William. Not only does he own a red Ferrari 458 Spider, he also bought a brand new McLaren 650S Spider from Trivett Sydney. I must say he has excellent taste in his choice of cars! He has been a great inspiration to me and despite his great success, he is an extremely humble man. It is always a great joy meeting and hanging out with all these lovely people in the Ferrari Club and learning a great deal from them :) We share the same love and passion for beautiful Supercars!

SYDNEY TO WOLLONGONG - In order to get to Sublime Point Lookout, we drove through Royal National Park, passed Stanwell Tops that offers panoramic view of Bald Hill Lookout - a prime spot where many people enjoy para-gliding and hand-gliding. We enjoyed a beautiful drive along the Grand Pacific Drive that passes through Stanwell Park on a spectacular route along the coast to South Coast. I loved the remarkable drive through the Sea Cliff Bridge which is an engineering masterpiece. Wished we had time to stop for a lovely walk on this bridge but it was raining so maybe next time.

Sublime Point Lookout - Sublime Point Cafe - Located at Bulli Tops in Wollongong, this venue offers diners breath-taking views and panoramic views overlooking the mountains, oceans and residential homes by the waters. It offers an escape into the beautiful natural surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney City life, where one is allowed to immersed oneself completely into Mother's Nature spell-binding charm. It is definitely a place to relax and appreciate the stunning sea cliffs, floral and fauna, interesting birdlife etc. We were greeted by friendly staffs who were helpful and extremely friendly upon arrival. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back again! A highly recommended place to dine with a view! Do check out their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SublimePointCafe :)

Overall, despite the rainy weather and gloomy skies, it was a pretty good turnout and all of us had an enjoyable time! I look forward to attending the next Ferrari Club event :) Catch up soon :)

SYDNEY - Auto Italia Canberra 2015 @ Old Parliament House - Together with friends from Ferrari Club of Australia - NSW, we drove down together in a "sea of red" convoy from Sydney to Canberra which took approximately 3 hours. We stopped by Meridian Cafe in Marulan to have a light lunch and coffee, then continued our way to Canberra. It was an enjoyble drive as the weather was lovely, all bright and sunny! I managed to take some amazing photos and videos with my iPhone 5.

ABOUT AUTO ITALIA CANBERRA - Held at the Lawns of the Old Parliament House in Canberra, the capital city of Australia, this event boasts a massive display of Italian automative design and excellence - beautiful cars, motorbikes and scooters exhibited with pride and passion from all around the nation. It is an annual event not to be missed for all car enthusiasts or petrol heads. During this Auto Italia Canberra weekend, Canberra is temporarily transformed from a rather quiet city to a rather noisy one with the influx of Supercars! A weekend bustling with activities! If you intend to attend the next Auto Italia Canberra 2016, do book your hotel in advance as they get fully booked pretty early. Popular hotels to stay are Hyatt Hotel Canberra conveniently located near the Old Parliament House and the Novotel Hotel as it is located near Canberra City with a huge shopping mall and my favourite Koko Black chocolate cafe. I wish they have Koko Black chocolate in Sydney!

HIGHLIGHT of the event - The Ferrari F40 which costs around US$1.6 million is proudly displayed under the Ferrari Tent. According to Jeremy Clarkson from TOP GEAR, the F40 is "the best Supercar of them all" and it is "the Supercar" unlike no others. The Ferrari F40 is the most profitable car in Ferrari history. The F40 is a mid-engine, rear wheel drive, two door coupe sports car built from 1987 to 1992 and is the fastest and most powerful car Ferrari ever sold. With a top speed of 324 km/h and a quick acceleration speed of 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, the F40 is a brilliant and remarkable V8 engine car that never fails to mesmerize car enthusiasts with its sheer performance. It is also the first road legal car to ever break the 320 km/h barrier. The F40 became a legend after Enzo Ferrari died in 1988, making it the last car produced under his watch. Only 1,311 F40 cars were manufactured in total and is a highly coveted Supercar among car enthusiasts and Ferrari fans.

The Ferrari F40

AWARDS - The winner of the "Best Ferrari" award went to the Ferrari F430 Scuderia proudly owned by Adam Ciampa. Together with his father - Peter Ciampa who owns the Ferrari F40, the love and passion for Ferrari definitely runs in the bloodline. The Ciampa family loves all things Ferrari and enjoy meeting car enthusiasts who share the same passion. I spoke to Peter Ciampa and he was very happy that I am planning a trip to Italy to visit the Ferrari Factory and Museum in Modena!

Ferrari 458 Speciale - Take a look at this unique looking "signal green" Ferrari 458 Speciale as it is the only one in the World other than Jay Kay's La Ferrari in the UK. There were also many other vintage Ferrari cars on display. The Ferrari 458 Speciale is the faster and more aggressive variant with a 4.5 litre V8 engine. The engine features direct fuel injection which is the first for Ferrari mid-engine setups in all its cars. It sprints from 0-96 km/h in less than 3 seconds. The coolest feature of this car is its side slip angle control (SSC) that gives more stability when taking a corner which results in increase in agility.

It was a great day catching up with friends and to marvel over the wonderful display of cars!
