SYDNEY - Oliveto Ristorante & Bar - All dressed up in Christmas colors in red and green, I was feeling really excited to attend the annual Lamborghini Club Australia Inc. - NSW Members Annual Christmas Party 2015 dinner. It was my first time having dinner at Oliveto Ristorante & Bar located at 443 Concord Road, Rhodes in Sydney and the view was spectacular! I loved the water views, the ample parking, the delicious Italian pasta I had and the wonderful customer service I received! I will definitely come back to dine at this Italian Restaurant in Sydney again! Lovely food and ambience!

Newly Elected Committee Club Members @ Annual Christmas Party 2015 - This party was also a celebration to welcome the newly elected President of the Club - Mr Sam Movizio and other NSW Committee Members such as Mr Gary Overs (Secretary & Treasurer), Mr John Edwards (NSW Co-cordinator and Committee Member) and myself as the new Lamborghini Club Media Officer. SYDNEY - Auto Italia Canberra 2015 @ Lawns of Old Parliament House - LAMBORGHINI photos - Besides the massive display of Ferrari cars, there was also an excellent display of Lamborghini cars and I had a wonderful time meeting new Lamborghini car owners and catching up with existing Lamborghini Club Australia members. It is always interesting to attend car events as I managed to take a look at really rare cars such as the Lamborghini Diablo Roadster which won people's choice award for "Best Lamborghini". There are only 4 delivered in Australia and they are highly sought after in the car sales market. It was also interesting to talk to fellow car enthusiasts as most of them collect cars as a hobby with a collection of more than 10 cars. An interesting conversation I had with a Lamborghini car owner is that not only does he have a large collection of cars, he also own a helicopter in Melbourne. He invited me to ride his helicopter when I visit Melbourne so that we can go on a short ski trip together in the snow mountains! How nice of him :)

Look at this uniquely green Lamborghini Balboni. If you take a look closely, you can discover that Valentino Balboni, the former chief test driver of Lamborghini in Italy, the man himself actually signed on the car. What a lucky car owner! Valentino Balboni had the best job in the World as Lamborghini's chief test driver for over 40 years and his extraordinary career has been highly respected by all as he eventually became the face of the brand and Lamborghini's ambassador.

Lamborghini Diablo - A high performance mid-engined sports car that was built by Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. It was the first Lamborghini that attained a top speed of above 320 km/h. The Diablo has a V12 engine and is often dubbed the "Devil on the Road". The Diablo is also the replacement of the legendary Lamborghini Countach. A top favourite among Lamborghini fans. Love this glittery Aurora Orange Diablo which is definitely a head-turner due to its glitter and glow :)

It was also great to meet Mr John Edwards who is the President of the Lamborghini Club Australia NSW Members club. We discussed about the upcoming Albury Easter Drive and how I was feeling really excited about attending it as it would be a combined meet between NSW and VIC. I am looking forward to meeting Lamborghini club members from Melbourne during the Easter holidays :)
I also managed to convince some new Lamborghini car owners to join the club! *winks-

SYDNEY - IGNITE Cars Club presents the Unveiling of the Brand New Lamborghini Huracan 2014 Model - Special thanks to IGNITE Cars Club for the exclusive invitation to The Grounds of Alexandria where there was a celebration of the unveiling of the brand new Lamborghini Huracan 2014 Model. There was a silent auction and live auction where charity proceeds are donated to the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation. With amazing sponsors such as Road Track, Ganellen, the Grounds of Alexandria etc., the night was a great success with many generous donations made by the VIP guests. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful night as it was an exciting and yet meaningful event.

Lamborghini Huracan 2014 Model - While most car enthusiasts in the World are still waiting for their Huracan, John is one lucky man in Sydney to be one of the very first few to receive his newly bought Lamborghini Huracan. Before it was unveiled, the surrounding crowd was filled with excitement. The white Lamborghini Huracan is a stunning beauty that simply glows in the night and I was totally mesmerized by the sheer elegance of its sleek body and cool lights. I love how the Huracan has many hexagon features and details as inspired by Lamborghini's Hexagon Project.
IGNITE Cars Club - A new car enthusiasts club which believes in giving back to community, touching the lives of others and putting a smile on children's faces on top of the usual Car Drive Days, Car Events etc. It was great to watch a video about how IGNITE Car Club members recently visited the Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick and brought great joy to the children. It was definitely what I am passionate about and I joined as a member without any hesitation. I am looking forward to attend the next event :) IGNITE Cars Club is a proud supporter of the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation. Lamborghini Huracán - This new super car is powered by a 5.2 litre V10 engine, produces 448kW and 560Nm of torque. It has a remarkable 3.2 seconds run from 0 km/h to 100km/h and is able to hit 200 km/h in just 9.9 seconds. Top speed is high at 325km/h. It has a dry weight of 1,422 kg which results in an excellent power to weight ratio of 2.33 kg per horse power. This guarantees a race-car precision of outstanding stability and stiffness. With the use of more carbonfibre, the Huracan's chassis is lighter and stronger which results in improved performance and spending an average fuel 12.5 litres of fuel per 100 kilometers.
Huracan vs the Gallardo - The Huracan is the successor to the Gallardo and priced slightly lower than the Gallardo to make it more affordable. The Gallardo sold at a total number of 14,022 units, is the most successful Lamborghini model to date and accounts for more than half the total cars sold by Lamborghini since the company was created in 1963. However, CEO and President of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A - Mr Stephan Winkelmann is confident that the Huracan will be of a greater success. Compared with the Lamborghini Gallardo, the new Huracan's interior cabin is much more spacious and less claustrophobic. The Huracan is also visually striking with cues from the Lamborghini Aventador and the elegant use of hexagonal shapes. The beautiful hexagonal shaped windows leaves onlookers gazing and even the gas cap cover is hexagonal!
Price of the Huracan - The remarkable brand new Huracan costs SGD1.168 million excluding taxes in Singapore and around AUD428,000 in Australia.
