SYDNEY - Auto Italia Canberra 2015 @ Lawns of Old Parliament House - LAMBORGHINI photos - Besides the massive display of Ferrari cars, there was also an excellent display of Lamborghini cars and I had a wonderful time meeting new Lamborghini car owners and catching up with existing Lamborghini Club Australia members. It is always interesting to attend car events as I managed to take a look at really rare cars such as the Lamborghini Diablo Roadster which won people's choice award for "Best Lamborghini". There are only 4 delivered in Australia and they are highly sought after in the car sales market. It was also interesting to talk to fellow car enthusiasts as most of them collect cars as a hobby with a collection of more than 10 cars. An interesting conversation I had with a Lamborghini car owner is that not only does he have a large collection of cars, he also own a helicopter in Melbourne. He invited me to ride his helicopter when I visit Melbourne so that we can go on a short ski trip together in the snow mountains! How nice of him :)

Only 4 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster delivered in Australia!

Look at this stunning white beauty! This white Lamborghini Murcielago won "Best Lamborghini" award and the owner told me he actually drove CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A - Mr Stephen Winkelmann's Lamborghini in Europe before! Very interesting stories to hear from similar Lamborghini car fans.

Look at this uniquely green Lamborghini Balboni. If you take a look closely, you can discover that Valentino Balboni, the former chief test driver of Lamborghini in Italy, the man himself actually signed on the car. What a lucky car owner! Valentino Balboni had the best job in the World as Lamborghini's chief test driver for over 40 years and his extraordinary career has been highly respected by all as he eventually became the face of the brand and Lamborghini's ambassador.

Lamborghini Diablo - A high performance mid-engined sports car that was built by Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001. It was the first Lamborghini that attained a top speed of above 320 km/h. The Diablo has a V12 engine and is often dubbed the "Devil on the Road". The Diablo is also the replacement of the legendary Lamborghini Countach. A top favourite among Lamborghini fans. Love this glittery Aurora Orange Diablo which is definitely a head-turner due to its glitter and glow :)

It was also great to meet Mr John Edwards who is the President of the Lamborghini Club Australia NSW Members club. We discussed about the upcoming Albury Easter Drive and how I was feeling really excited about attending it as it would be a combined meet between NSW and VIC. I am looking forward to meeting Lamborghini club members from Melbourne during the Easter holidays :)

I also managed to convince some new Lamborghini car owners to join the club! *winks-

Here you can see the Lamborghini Huracan always steal the limelight and is a crowd favourite!

Love my awesome friends from the Lamborghini Club Australia NSW Members club!

Drove really fast in my Ferrari to get ahead of everyone to capture the cars in my side mirror!

SYDNEY - Lamborghini Club Drive to Burragorang Lookout and Picton by Lora Christelle Lim

SYDNEY - Lamborghini Club Drive to Burragorang Lookout and Picton - I stayed overnight at Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge which is a quaint and cozy boutique hotel in West Sydney so that I can wake up early in the morning at 6am to arrive on time at 8am for the Lamborghini Club drive! President of the Lamborghini Club - Mr John Edwards has kindly organized this amazing drive and there was an awesome attendance. It was great to meet fellow Lamborghini enthusiasts and we enjoyed a beautiful drive along the roads at fast speeds. I am still waiting for Ben C to send me the videos taken during the drive so will update again soon.

BURRAGORANG LOOKOUT - We first met at Eastern Creek and later drove in a colourful convoy towards Burragorang Lookout where there was stunning and breath-taking views of Warragamba Dam. The gorgeous view from the high vantage point where we stood allowed our eyes to feast on the visual spectacle of vast spans of water and greenery. While marvelling over Mother Nature's great beauty, we were told that the huge body of water far below provides 80% of Sydney's water supply. Thank God for the beautiful day as the sun was shining brightly in the skies and there was no rain so I could drive my Lamborghini Gallardo Spider with the top down. Before leaving, we also took some amazing photos of the various Lamborghini cars :)

PICTON - Our final destination was a relaxing lunch at Picton. It was great getting to know and making new friends with new Lamborghini Club members. I managed to persuade a few friends I made at the Lamborghini Esperienza 2014 in Melbourne's Phillip Island to come for this event and they finally joined the club as new members! Mr John Edwards was very pleased with me indeed!

This is beautiful Sarah Wyse and me standing beside our Lamborghini Gallardo Spiders :)

Melbourne - Buying the Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

Melbourne - Buying the Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder - We visited the Lamborghini Melbourne showroom in search of our ideal car and we finally found it! It was a successful trip! It was a difficult decision to choose between the Lamborghini Murcielago and the Lamborghini Gallardo as both cars were such beautiful machines. In the end, we decided on the Gallardo as it was much easier to drive and control the car on the whole. However, I must say I really love the Murcielago's scissor doors which makes the car look extremely grand, special and cool!

Melbourne's Federation Square - A visit to Melbourne is only complete with a visit to Melbourne's famous Federation Square which is the centre of cultural attractions, world class exhibitions and tourists' attractions! It was a lovely day and we enjoyed the bustling scene with a hot mocha.

Melbourne City - The weather was pretty gloomy, rainy with strong gusts of winds when I was there. I was contemplating buying a colorful windmill just to brighten up my day. They are so cute!

Lora's hair perm is done by JERIC SALON @ Ion Orchard - www.jeric.sg

Before flying to Melbourne, I visited Jeric Salon @ ION Orchard to perm my hair. I must say they did an amazing job as my hair has such beautiful curls naturally after every wash without even applying any hair product. I love my hair as it looks beautiful without me fussing over it. Thanks JERIC Salon!

The yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder - Don't laugh but the number plate on the car is pretty evil! Initially I wanted to hide it from everyone but since I'm gonna change the number plate soon, I decided to show the world how ridiculously funny it is. No offense to anyone, I do not wish to be associated with the Devil in any way but below is what everyone was laughing and joking about...

VGR 666 = "The Devil needs Viagra!"

However, intellectually speaking, most Lamborghinis have the numbers 666 due to Lamborghini's proud history of making the Lamborghini Diablo between 1990 and 2001 which is the very first Lamborghini capable of attaining the top speed of more than 320km/h. Diablo means "devil" in Spanish! However, the Lamborghini Diablo was replaced by the Lamborghini Murcielago after the end of its production run in 2001.

The Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder - This car costs twice as much as my Ferrari F360 Spider but in terms of comfort, the Lamborghini beats the Ferrari hands down. It has a luxurious interior and feels less bumpy than the Ferrari. It is also a quieter car unlike the loud Tubi exhaust installed on my Ferrari.

Interior of my Ferrari F360 Spider

For long distance, the Lamborghini was a better choice compared to the Ferrari. We drove the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder back to Sydney which took more than 12 hours. It was a long and exhausting drive so we stopped over at Canberra to rest for a night halfway.

Comparing my Ferrari F360 Spider with my Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

I am very lucky as this car has its GPS Navigation system as well as rear end cameras fitted. With the reversing camera, parking is a breeze! Interestingly, this car also has a front lifting mechanism so I can raise the height of the car when overcoming dips and steep driveways. It is such a beautiful car, don't you agree? This utterly gorgeous car is definitely a head turner as well as a beauty to keep!
