LORA & DOLCE2DOLCE - Together with my sister Sara Shantelle Lim, I was very happy to select 2 beautiful wedding gowns from Dolce2Dolce. Not only do the dresses fit perfectly onto my body, they feel extremely lightweight and comfortable especially when I needed them for an outdoor pre-wedding photography shoot. I love the beautiful Swan organza wedding gown as it is made with high quality fabric and looks extremely beautiful just like petals on a blooming white rose. It comes with a delicate, Swarovski crystal encrusted gold belt to accentuate my waistline. It is lightweight and enables me to twirl and dance in the sunlight for the photographer to snap my dancing photos in fast motion. It is definitely a dress that is easy to move in and my perfect dress for an outdoor photo shoot. The other wedding gown which I chose had feminine frills, sewn on shiny pearl beads and sequins and a long train which makes me look like an elegant princess. Which gown do you think I look better in? I am really thankful and grateful to be able to try on different wedding gowns so far...

Most brides love wearing white wedding gowns as they exude pristine purity but doning a colored wedding gown injects an element of flirty fun and vibrance to achieve a cheerful overall effect. I chose this "Tangerine" gown as this photo shoot took place during the Chinese New Year festive period and "Tangerine" in Chinese sounds similar to "luck" so I hope that wearing this gown will help to bring me auspicious good luck. As it was the final dress that I wore for the shoot, my sister Sara Shantelle Lim and girlfriends Natasha Kittisara and Enne Tan joined us to create an interesting and fun photoshoot with many candid and spontaneous shots. The girls were happily posing and jumping off the bed to show their happiness for me. I was glad that I could just sit and look pretty. I guess they were high on champagne and chocolates. The girls were also in awe of my giant Swarovski Crystal ring which I got from the Singapore International Jewelry Exhibition (SIJE) 2013 held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. What an interesting shoot! It was a memorable day filled with joy, fun and laugher! Love you girls :) You can always count on your girlfriends to bring out the best in you!

I had the opportunity to take a look at all the designs of their newest collection of Wedding Gowns, discuss my personal preference and finally decide on which gowns I would like to wear for my pre-wedding photo shoot. The "Grace" Gown

The "Grace" gown - One of my most admired timeless beauty icons is "Grace Kelly" who was an elegant American actress who became Princess of Monaco after marrying Prince Rainier III. This beautiful "Grace" gown features speckles of intricate white pearls and shiny beaded crystals which are professionally sewn together and carefully positioned to create an elegant gown that exudes poise, class, sophistication and one of timeless beauty. White pearls have always been my all time favorite and they helped create a romantic, feminine and breath-taking look for this "Grace" gown. The high-waist and bodice back of the gown consists of a ribbon and lace up corset that allows me to create an hourglass silhouette and accentuate my feminine curves. The tulle skirt is like a fairy tale fantasy with rolls and rolls of Chantilly lace forming the multiple layers of grandeur with subtle delicate floral patterns sewn on it to achieve the "perfect" extravagant princess ball gown. This piece is one of immaculate beauty, grace and elegance fit for an "aristocrat" lady, a discerning and sophisticated bride.
